Pastoral Lease and Permits - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this leases or permits if you wish to use Crown lands for pastoral purposes.

There may be conditions of pastoral leases, including:

  • reservation of a right of entry and inspection
  • a reservation of all minerals in or on the leased land
  • that you may have to pay rent in accordance to the Act
  • taking all reasonable measures to conserve and protect features of environmental, cultural, heritage or ecological significance
  • needing consent to clear any land.
