Public Aquarium Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need to apply for a public aquarium licence if you intend to purchase and keep live fish and aquatic life for the purpose of exhibiting them for profit. Licence holders are not authorised to sell live fish or aquatic life taken or exhibited under the licence.

  • quarantine and disease strategies
  • security of ponds / tanks
  • minimum volume of water that will be under display
  • long term financial ability to fund project
  • any convictions for Fisheries offences.
