You may need this registration if you intend to operate a thoroughbred race club in the Northern Territory. A race club is a body or association of persons, corporate or unincorporated, that promotes, holds or controls, or is formed to promote, hold, or control, race meetings.
A principal club, as appointed by the Minister, is responsible for the registration and regulation of race clubs in the Northern Territory. Thoroughbred Racing Northern Territory is currently the relevant principal club.
