Description

You will need to register if you intend to work as a surveyor in the Northern Territory.

Surveyors carry out work such as determining property boundaries, preparing contour maps and setting out the location of roads, tunnels and buildings.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must:

hold the approved educational requirements
have undertaken approved training and field service with a licensed surveyor
have passed the relevant examination
be a fit and proper person to hold the registration.

If you already hold a surveyor's licence in another state or territory, you can apply for NT registration under mutual recognition.
