Registration as a Veterinarian - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to provide a veterinary service. Veterinary service means any service which forms part of the practice of veterinary surgery or medicine. This includes attending, examining, diagnosing, treating disease injury, prescribing medicine, and administering vaccines to an animal.

You can apply for:

  • registration as a veterinarian
  • limited registration of a veterinarian
  • interim registration of a veterinarian

Qualified veterinarians may apply to the Advisory Committee on Veterinary Specialists to be recognised as a Veterinary Specialist.

Applicants who are registered in another State or Territory, or in New Zealand, may apply for registration under mutual recognition legislation.
