Registration of Insurers - Northern Territory


Australian insurers are required to register and pay duty by monthly return for policies of general insurance issued in relation to property in the Northern Territory or a risk that may occur in the Territory.

Persons that effect a policy of general insurance with an overseas insurer are required to lodge a return in relation to that policy.
