Security Officers Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to provide a security service, including patrolling or guarding another person's property.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must:

  • obtain a criminal history check
  • hold a current first aid certificate
  • complete the relevant training course.

Duration

Up to three years. A three-month provisional licence may be issued under the circumstances where you had enrolled in training and are offered work before completing training.
