Description

You may need to comply with this code if you conduct a business, or manage a workplace, involving spray-painting and powder coating.

You may achieve compliance with your legislative requirements through another method if it provides an equivalent or higher standard of work health and safety.

Duties in relation to how to manage and control the safe use of spray-painting and powder coating include:

  • identifying and managing health and safety risks in the workplace
  • identifying and controlling hazards in the workplace
  • providing relevant information, training, instructions, and supervision in the workplace.
