Substitute Taxi Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence to operate a substitute taxi. A substitute taxi is a vehicle which is on stand-by to substitute for an existing standard taxi at times when that vehicle (the primary taxi) is being serviced, maintained, repaired, or is otherwise unavailable for use as a taxi.

The primary taxi must not be operated while being substituted. The primary taxi must only have one substitute taxi operating under the primary taxi licence at any one time.
