Trepang Fishery Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to commercially fish for trepang. Trepang is also known as sea cucumber, and is a marine invertebrate with leathery skin and an elongated body. Trepang are harvested by hand either on foot or by diving, usually on neap tides during the dry season when the water is clearer.

The fishery is restricted to six licences and all are currently allocated.
