You can obtain this approval by completing an "Application for Approval of Premises as Approved Inspection Station" (Form No. F2272) and submitting it to your nearest customer service centre, the location of which can be obtained by calling department's call centre.

You must ensure that you have at least one approved examiner. Your site and mobile unit will be inspected by departmental officers. You, as the proprietor, must sit and pass an examination (exceptions apply).
All nominees, directors/or proprietors must pay for a criminal history check, the results of which must be returned before approval can be granted.
