Authorisation of explosives - Queensland

Description

You will require this authorisation if you manufacture or import of explosives and / or possess unauthorised explosives. Unauthorised explosives are explosives that have not been previously authorised for use.

You may require this authorisation for:

  • authorisation of an explosive
  • amendment of an authorised explosive
  • trial of an unauthorised explosive
  • extension of trial of an unauthorised explosive.

Eligibility requirements

This authorisation will only be granted if the explosive:

  • has or could have a legitimate use in Queensland
  • can be made available or tested for such use
  • can be safely handled with appropriate safeguards.
