Building Code of Australia - Queensland

You will need to comply with the provisions of the Building Code of Australia that set out requirements for appropriate sanitary conveniences (e.g. toilets) at your licensed premises.

The Building Code of Australia will help you calculate the number of male and female toilets and hand basins, that you require based on the floor space of the premises.

Access to toilets should generally be from within the premises, with additional requirements placed on toilets that are accessed externally.
