Casino associated persons process - Queensland

Description

The Minister may cause investigations to be undertaken to satisfy the Governor in Council that all persons associated with the ownership, management or operation of a proposed or licensed Queensland casino are of good repute.

Associated Person means chief employees of the casino licensee or casino operator (e.g. Director, Secretary, Manager) and Directors and Chief Employees of any holding company. Please note, this definition is provided as a guide to identify those persons who would likely be determined to be associated with the ownership, management or operation of a proposed or licensed Queensland casino and accordingly be required to be considered for approval as an Associated Person.

Service type

Regulatory Obligation

An obligation defined in law. A business must comply with relevant services.

Duration

While the association remains in place. However, investigations are periodically conducted into each association, and it is possible that suitability may be rescinded.
