Description

Cats must be registered by 12 weeks of age or within 14 days of being brought into the region. 

The number of cats and dogs on a property is regulated by the Council's local law and is dependent on the size of the property. The council has set minimum standards for the keeping and control of animals.

An animal can be registered in the name of one person only. The registered person must be 18 years or over.

Step 2 - register your animal:

  • you can register your animal online or in person.

Step 3 - animal registration tag:

  • animal registration certificate and tag will be posted to you.
