Code of conduct for inbound tour operators - Queensland

Description

You will need to comply with a code of conduct if you operate as an inbound tour operator in Queensland and you sell travel packages that include at least two of the following tourism related services:

  • accommodation (with or without food)
  • guiding services
  • food (other than that included with accommodation)
  • tourism activities
  • translation and interpretation
  • transport (including arrival and departure from Queensland)
  • shopping visits or introductions to retailers
  • entry to tourist attractions
  • any other related activities, good or services

The code sets out the minimum standards of inbound tour operators, including how to operate in a fair, honest and professional way.
