Commercial fishing boat licence - Queensland

You require this licence if you are taking fish for a commercial purpose.

Operations are limited to the fishery/fisheries noted for the licence in the department's register including net, line, crabbing, pearl shell, etc.

You must ensure that the licence/eligibility has the correct fishery symbol/s for the intended fishing activities.

Contact should be made with the Department of Transport and Main Roads regarding vessel survey requirements under the Marine Safety Act.
