A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants should complete the Pre-design/pre-lodgement meeting application form and contact Permit and Licence Management for specialist advice. Commercial harvesting of whole plants and plant parts must be undertaken in accordance with the annual Harvest Period Notice. Commercial harvesting of whole plants for direct trade may only be done under salvage in accordance with an approved salvage plan.

Duration

This licence remains in effect for up to a maximum of 12 months.

You can obtain this licence by submitting a completed Application form "Commercial wildlife harvesting licence (protected plants)" to Permit and Licence Management.

What is required after applying but before approval is granted?

Harvesting of whole plants under salvage must be done in accordance with an approved salvage plan.

Transfer

This licence cannot be transferred.
