Food standards code - Queensland

Description

You will need to comply with this code if you conduct a food business or produce, handle, sell or advertise food. This code sets out the:

  • standards that apply to the majority of foods, such as labelling requirements and additives
  • compositional requirements for specific foods such as meat, eggs, fish and alcoholic beverages
  • food hygiene issues
  • primary production and processing standards.
