General approval - poisons - Queensland

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to buy, use, possess and dispose of regulated poisons for a specific purpose that is not authorised under any other licenses. General approvals are available in the following categories:

  • regulated substances - S2, S3, S4, S7, S8, S9, S10 substances for non-therapeutic use
  • authorised biosecurity and nature conservation officers
  • commercial baiting
  • cyanide
  • research, analysis and teaching at university
  • research and analysis at a commercial laboratory
  • manufactured low-risk fluoroacetic acid baits
  • restricted S7 poison state and local government entity
  • landholders.
