  • workplaces where asbestos is fixed or installed in a building, structure, ship or equipment
  • demolition works on a building, structure, ship or plant where asbestos is fixed or installed
  • workplaces where activities involving asbestos containing material are carried out.

This code provides practical guidance on how to comply with your work health and safety duties, including effective ways to identify and manage risks.

You will either need to comply with this code or an alternative method that sets an equivalent or higher standard of work health and safety.
