You can obtain this licence by submitting a completed "Application for PID Registry Licence" (Form 1) with the required fee. The application will be reviewed and assessed by the Department and applicants will be advised of the outcome.
Licence applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
demonstrated capacity to be able to comply with the licence conditions
demonstrated ability to develop, administer and maintain a database that effectively captures records, maintains them with associated reporting functions
demonstrated ability and capacity to effectively and efficiently re-unite lost animals with owners.
The Department will review the application and advise of the outcome. Successful applicants will have to meet the licence conditions as advised.
