You will need to comply with this code if you or your employees will be exposed to excessive noise. If your employees are exposed to noise in the workplace that exceeds the national standard decibels, you must manage your employee's exposure to the noise in accordance with this code.

This code provides practical guidance on how to comply with your work health and safety duties, including effective ways to identify and manage risks.

You will either need to comply with this code or an alternative method that sets an equivalent or higher standard of work health and safety.
