You will need this licence if you plan to evaluate the development potential of a defined resource. This licence allows you to conduct geoscientific programs (e.g. drilling, seismic surveys), mining feasibility studies, metallurgical testing and marketing, and environmental, engineering and design studies.
You will be required to obtain the appropriate environmental authority. You will also need to address any native title requirements before the agency grants you authority.
