Description

You will require this lease if you intend to conduct larger scale mining operations. Mining leases can be issued for any specific mineral.

This licence allows you to machine-mine for specified minerals and conduct other activities associated with mining or promoting the activity of mining.

You will be required to obtain the relevant environmental authority.

  • hold a prospecting permit, exploration permit or mineral development licence

  • come to an agreement with landholders in regard to compensation
  • address the appropriate environmental authority requirements
  • address native title requirements.
