You will need to comply with this standard to provide child care services. This applies to family day care services and centre-based services.
The standard provides national benchmarks for the quality of education and care services. Your education and care service will be assessed against the standard. The Agency may refuse your application for a service approval if your service does not meet the requirements of the standard.
An existing service approval may be suspended or terminated if the service is assessed as failing to meet the standard.
