Non-conforming building products code of practice - Queensland

Description

You will need to comply with this code if you are involved in the building product supply chain - including designers, importers, manufacturers, suppliers, architects, engineers, installers and homeowners. The code will provide additional, technical advice on how to achieve compliance with the recent amendments to the building and construction legislation in relation to non-conforming building products.

Non-conforming building products (NCBPs) are building products that are not of acceptable quality, do not meet Australian standards, are not fit for their intended purpose, or contain false or misleading claims. A building product is any material or other thing associated with, or that could be associated with a building or the construction of a building.
