Offshore pipeline licence - Queensland


You will need this licence if you intend to construct, alter or operate a system of pipes to convey petroleum as part of an offshore petroleum operation in Queensland. This includes the construction of pumping stations, tank stations and valve stations to support the operation of the pipelines.

This licence only enables you to construct, alter or operate offshore pipes that lie on the seabed within the territorial sea of Australia, and the territorial sea adjacent to any island forming part of Queensland.
