Recreational marine driver licence - QLD - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a boat that has an engine power of more than 4.5kW.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

be at least 16 years old
be medically fit
complete a BoatSafe course within 6 months of applying or have a recognised and valid interstate marine licence.

To apply for this licence, you must:

have a completed a marine licence application (F2334)
have proof of identity
have your original and current statement of competency from your BoatSafe training provider - if your original statement is lost, you must get a replacement from the training provider
pay the licence fee.
