Approval as a responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) trainer - Queensland

Description

You will need this approval for your company to deliver responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) training as an approved course provider. This approval will authorise you to issue certificates to participants.

The approval is issued to a registered training organisation (RTO) who is then responsible for ensuring all individuals deliver the training appropriately on behalf of the RTO.

This course is mandatory for liquor licence holders (if they are an individual), approved managers and some permit holders.

Application process

All applicants need to complete:

  • Form 47: Application for trainer approval in responsible management of licensed venues course
  • Application to nominate a new senior trainer.

All approved trainers must nominate a senior trainer. The nominated senior trainer must be a trainer who delivers the relevant training on a regular basis and maintains currency of certain qualifications. OLGR maintains a record of each approved trainer's senior trainer.

If an approved trainer wishes to nominate a new senior trainer, they must complete:

  • Application to nominate a new senior trainer.

Renew

You will need to apply for renewal every year.

Transfer

This approval cannot be transferred.
