You will need this permit if you intend to undertake activities in a state-controlled road corridor, which is defined as the area next to a state-controlled road. An activity can include, but is not limited to:
- placing structures on a road corridor (e.g. advertising signs, fences, bee hives)
- conducting works (e.g. laying cables or clearing land)
- using a road corridor as a place of business. (e.g. roadside vending).
