You will need this permit if you intend to undertake any of the following within the boundaries of a state-controlled road corridor:
- undertaking an activity
- locating or constructing a structure or thing
- maintaining a structure or thing
- upgrading a structure or thing
- operating a structure or thing.
Example uses of this permit include, but are limited to:
- placing structures on a road corridor (e.g. advertising signs, fences, bee hives)
- conducting works (e.g. laying cables or clearing land)
- using a road corridor as a place of business (e.g. roadside vending).
