Road licence - Queensland

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to exclusively occupy a temporarily closed road. This licence can only be issued for roads that have been temporarily closed. If the road has not been closed, you will also need to apply for a road closure.

Application process

To apply for this licence you must include a drawing (minimum A4 size) which includes the following information:

  • general location including your land
  • area of road to be closed
  • lot on plan information
  • a north point
  • scale
  • dimensions.

For PDF applications, you will also need to include a road licence (PDF) application form and a contact and land details application form.

For online applications, you or a legal practitioner on your behalf, must electronically sign the application.

You must contact the road manager to discuss your application before you complete this form.
