Sale of knives and controlled items - Queensland

Description

In Queensland, knives and other items, such as double-edged knives, machetes, tomahawks, and axes, are classified as controlled items, and selling them to minors is prohibited.

Retailers must securely store controlled items and display signage about age-restricted items. Additionally, it is prohibited to advertise knives or other controlled items in a way that suggests they are 'suitable for combat'.
