HQPlantations manages permits for stock grazing on licenced plantations.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
What are the prerequisites to obtaining this authority?
Available areas are put to tender through newspaper advertisements. Permits are transferable and so may be acquired by purchase from holder. Consent of Chief Executive is required for transfer.
Permit is issued for up to seven (7) years and grazing dues are paid annually in advance as indicated on the permit.
A schedule of fees is available for grazing.

Information about how to obtain this permit can be obtained from the offices of Queensland Parks and Wildlife for State Forest grazing or HQPlantations for licenced plantation grazing.
Regional offices will select the successful tenderer from all tenders received and will advise same by letter.
This licence can be transferred. The permit holder is required to submit a transfer application signed by present holders and signed by new permit holder.
After applying, the consent of the Chief Executive is required before transfer is granted.
All stock must be branded.
