You need to be registered as a suitable operator to lodge an environmental authority, which allows you to carry out an environmentally relevant activity.

The registration process will place you on the suitable operator register and assign you a reference number.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.


Your registration will commence the day your name and address are included in the suitable operator register.


Your suitable operator registration ends after five years of not the holding an environmental authority, unless the registration is otherwise cancelled or suspended.
