Tattooing events and exhibition permit - Queensland

Description

You need a permit if you intend to hold events or exhibitions that involve body art  tattooing procedures. You can apply for a maximum of 2 permits (per person) per year.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for a permit, you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • be an Australian citizen or resident.

If you are applying on behalf of an organisation, you will also need to provide:

  • details of the organisation
  • evidence that you are the nominated event manager.

Duration

Permits will be issued for a maximum of 7 days.

Approval time

Transfer

You cannot transfer this licence.
