Taxi service licence - QLD - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence to operate a taxi service. A taxi service licence authorises an accredited operator to provide a taxi service in a specific area - subject to certain conditions.

Please note that the number of taxi service licences in each taxi service is controlled. Due to changes to the personalised transport industry in Queensland, which were introduced in 2016, no new taxi service licences will be released. You can still get a taxi service licence by buying or leasing an existing licence.
