You need this registration if you intend to practice as a veterinary surgeon in Queensland.
You must be registered in each Australian state or territory in which you intend to practice. If you perform the majority of your practice in Queensland, you must have primary registration in Queensland. If you perform the majority of your practice in another state or territory, you must have secondary registration in Queensland.
You can also apply for:
- limited registration, which allows you to operate for up to 30 days
- specialist registration, if you have specific advanced training in a particular area.
