You will need this approval to install, alter, disconnect or remove a water meter. Water meters can be connected to residential and commercial properties.

A water meter is a device that records the amount of water being used on your property. Your meter will usually be located near the front boundary of your property inside a meter box.

Wide Bay Water is responsible for water management within the Fraser Coast Regional Council. If you reside in this council area, you will need to apply for this approval through this service provider.

Water meters must be installed by a licensed plumber.
