Wine nominee approval - Queensland

Description

You will need to have an approved wine nominee on each premises covered by a wine licence. The wine nominee is responsible for ensuring that wine is sold on the licensed premises only.

A wine nominee is required if the licence:

  • consists of more than one person (partnership or corporation)
  • is linked to more than one premises.

Premises covered by a wine producer licence may have more than one nominee approved at any one time.

When a nominee leaves a vineyard or winery, the licensee must appoint a new nominee.
