If you propose to operate Private Health Facilities you must first hold approvals.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
Pre-requisites to your application are contained within the Application Guidelines, which are available on the Department of Health website.
Approvals remain in force for not more than two years. An application to extend the term of the approval by a further two years may be made.
This licence cannot be transferred.
You should contact Private Health Regulation, Branch of the Chief Health Officer to obtain a copy of the Private Health Facilities information package.
