Description

You need this licence to work in a Queensland casino as a manager or supervisor of casino staff.

Note: If you are being employed as a dealer, cashier, security officer, maintenance worker or administration officer you will need a casino employee licence.

Eligibility requirements

You must be 18 years or older and have a letter from the casino operator confirming your employment.

Duration

This licence remains in effect until cancelled, surrendered, expired (if not used for 12 months) or death.

Application process

There are 2 ways to apply for a casino key employee licence:

  1. complete the online form
  2. complete form 8 - this form will be provided by your employer as part of your application package.

Note: This application can only be lodged at the direction of the casino operator.

Your employer will also submit the following documents to OLGR with your application:

  • identification documents
  • certificate of training experience
  • other documents as requested.

Transfer

This licence cannot be transferred.
