Electrical work training permit - Queensland

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to conduct electrical works that are not permitted under your ordinary licence conditions while you are being trained. The permit will state the scope and conditions of the works that you can complete.

An electrical work training permit:

  • does not entitle the holder to another electrical licence
  • must not be considered in deciding whether the holder is qualified to obtain or hold another electrical licence.

The ordinary licence conditions and the scope of your licence should be outlined in the current licence. This permit allows you to conduct specific electrical works outside those conditions for training purposes.
