General construction induction card (white card) - Queensland

Description

You will need to complete a general construction induction training course with a registered training organisation (RTO) to undertake construction work in Queensland. The white card will give you a basic knowledge of:

  • work health and safety laws
  • common site hazards
  • how to control the associated risks.

Once you've successfully completed CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, the RTO will issue you with your general construction induction training card (previously called a white card). You must keep this with you whenever you are on site.

Keep a note of your RTO's details and a copy of your card in your records. You'll need this information if you require a replacement card.
