Radiation safety accreditation certificate - Queensland

Description

A person must hold an Accreditation Certificate to certify that premises or a radiation source comply with the relevant Radiation Safety Standard made under the Radiation Safety Act 1999.

Duration

This certificate remains in effect for the period stated on the certificate, but not greater than three years.

You can obtain information on fees from the agency.

Transfer

This certificate cannot be transferred.

Additional Information

All persons holding a possession licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999 must obtain certificates of compliance for their radiation sources and the premises in which they are used or in which radioactive substances are stored from time to time as specified in the Regulation. Any person wishing to perform this service for possession licensees must hold an Accreditation Certificate.
