You will need to have an approved wine nominee on each premises covered by a wine licence. The wine nominee is responsible for ensuring that wine is sold on the licensed premises only.
A wine nominee is required if the licence:
- consists of more than one person (partnership or corporation)
- is linked to more than one premises.
Premises covered by a wine producer licence may have more than one nominee approved at any one time.
When a nominee leaves a vineyard or winery, the licensee must appoint a new nominee.
