Accreditation as a Dairy Processor - South Australia


Any person intending to manufacture or pack dairy produce must obtain accreditation. There are two categories of accreditation:

  • Large scale dairy processor
  • Small scale dairy processor

These categories are based on the amount of milk processed.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.




2019-2020 fees:
Large dairy processors (>1m litres): 0.0640 cents/litre
Small processors (<1m litres): $790/annum
New Applications: $100
