Accreditation of an Egg Production Business - South Australia


Persons intending to establish an egg production business must be accredited under the egg food safety scheme pursuant to Primary Produce (Food Safety Schemes) Act 2004 and the Primary Produce (Food Safety Schemes) (Eggs) Regulations 2012.

One off accreditation fee $530

Less than 1,000 hens $217 annually
1,001 hens up to 9,999 hens $811 annually
10,000 to 49,999 hens $1,098 annually
More than 50,000 hens $1,747 annually.
