Description

If you intend to be involved in assessing development applications, you need to be registered as an accredited professional.

The following practitioners require accreditation:

  • building professionals who are involved in assessing and providing advice on building consent applications (building certifiers)
  • planning professionals who are involved in assessing development applications
  • surveyors who are acting as relevant authorities for planning and land division consent
  • allied professionals who are members of assessment panels, including architects, lawyers, urban designers, engineers and landscape architects.
