You will need this permit if you intend to possess ammunition for a firearm.
Ammunition includes:
- a cartridge case fitted with a live primer and a projectile
- a cartridge case fitted with a live primer and containing a propelling charge and a projectile
- live primers
- propellants
- blank cartridges.
Ammunition does not include:
- inert blank cartridges/drill rounds
- snap caps or items designed to fit in the breech or chamber to prevent damage to the firing pin
- paint-balls
- air pellets.
